Just west of downtown Colorado Springs at 1015 West Colorado Ave. In 2014, we moved to our current location in a beautifully converted Victorian house On July 4, 1996, I opened the European Cafe and Restaurant in Manitou Springs and stayed for 18 1/2 years. I often worked 2-3 jobs – with one being at the old Heidelberg Bakery where I had several positions and learned day to day operations of the bakery. I came to America in 1983 from Krakow, Poland without speaking any English. My creations are traditional, yet extravagant, with no shortcuts and no microwave! My dishes are made to order and with the finest ingredients – and that is how fine cooking should be! When not in the kitchen, I love spending time with friends and family – especially my grandchildren – and I enjoy speaking with anyone in Polish, my native tongue. My passion is creating a wonderful experience for our guests with ambience, service and especially my made-from-scratch delicacies inspired by my mother and grandmother in Poland.
